Cloisters of the Catedral

La Nueva houses a Renaissance choir stall intricately carved by Rodrigo Alemán. We are not allowed to take photos. No God would mind so this is odd.

La Vieja was built between the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries and now houses a refurbished museum and cloisters.  Photos are allowed here so I have been able to make a record of this beautiful, tranquil and meditative place.  Santa Maria de la Blanca presides over it.




The small tower in the background is in the same style as one we have seen in Salamanca.  You can just make out the melon on top, which I nearly sliced!
