Next we have coffee at Tentempie then visit the Cathedral, this is highly recommended and a bargain at four Euros.
In fact it is two cathedrals in one, the new and old; Catedral Vieja y Catedral Nueva, built back to back. Work began on the second church, La Nueva, at the end of the fifteenth century, but was eventually abandoned due to lack of finance in 1760. The open end was simply bricked up.
